In this position, you would have the opportunity to develop a sales territory by maintaining relationships with current customers and bringing in new ones to drive business. You will be a representative of the Gericke Group, becoming a trusted face to our customers while also adhering to company values and policy. As a member of our team, you will become an advisor and solution provider throughout the sales process. Scaling the business is our one and only focus!

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and develop a Sales Strategy to help obtain your personal quotas, as well as those set by Gericke.
  • Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis, providing solutions as needed, and oversee all sales activity in your sales territory.
  • Coordinate and work directly with Sales Leaders to provide feedback and current opportunity status updates.
  • Ability to manage CRM data maintaining clean and updated records for all leads and customers.
  • Adhere to all company procedures, values, and policies so you provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.
  • Cold calling; making many outbound calls to potential clients.
  • Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources.
  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, tradeshows, etc.
  • Create and maintain a list/database of prospect clients to manage through CRM.
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
  • Continually developing, nurturing, and growing your Sales Pipeline.
  • Must be influential and goal-oriented.
  • Must possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
  • Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Must be able and willing to travel.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Outside Sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and be able to work independently with low supervision.
  • A passion for equipment and customer service.
  • Very good interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.

Compensation

  • Base + benefits.
