Job Description
- Gericke North America is searching for a field service technician professional for our Somerset-NJ location.
- The position requires the ability to do installations support, training, and troubleshooting of process equipment.
- Provide customers with excellent customer service by either attending over the phone or at a customer's facility.
- Learn about Gericke’s equipment.
- Electrical and mechanical skills are necessary.
- Must be able to travel (United States, Canada and Mexico).

Key Responsibilities
- Provide customers with excellent customer service either by assisting over the phone or at a customer's facility.
- Report and keep track of customer interactions.
- Travel for installations, training and troubleshooting.
- Assemble equipment.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Engineering background or current engineering student; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Good working knowledge of drawing software 2D and 3D preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and be able to work independently with low supervision.
- A passion for equipment and customer service.
- Strong customer-service mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Very good interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
Compensation
- Base + benefits.
